Audrey Vs. Rooney
Vulture compares Audrey Hepburn to Rooney Mara. They make an interesting case and I think it’s worth looking at.
How are the two alike?
Tame Beginnings, Controlling Males, Couture Style, the Little Black Dress, and that they weren’t afraid to take on a challenging role. I know Rooney has a long way to go before she can be anything like Ms. Hepburn but it’s an interesting idea, and I’ll entertain it. Also, I like the idea of calling Rooney Mara the new Audrey Hepburn because it feels, and let me know if this is just me, that sometimes Marilyn Monroe is the one who gets all of the attention. Attention meaning that she’s the one who actresses channel in photoshoots and whatnot. Audrey is always left out, and as much as I adore Marylin, Audrey Hepburn was just downright AMAZING.
